Ramadan Taraweeh Salah / Isha Prayers 

As-salam-u-Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatahu!

Alhamdulillaah, MCSC plans to organize Taraweeh Salaah / Isha Prayers with prior one-time sign-up online in order to maintain and manage the capacity limits as per norms/guidelines of the Administration and the Management of Temple Beth El, 67 US Route 206, Hillsborough NJ 08844.

Taraweeh Schedule
Huffaz will be leading the Isha prayers followed by Taraweeh prayers with daily recitation of one juz (para/part) of the Al-Quran Al Kareem spread over in 20 rakaah. Insha'Allah target will be to complete the entire Al-Quran Al Kareem on Lailatu-ul_Qadr night: Saturday 26th Ramadan / 8th May.

Order of prayers will be as follows:

• Isha fard
• Short break for Sunnah
• Taraweeh prayer with short break after every 4 rakaah
• Close by Witr prayer

Taraweeh will start on Monday April 12th.

You MUST sign up online before you come for Taraweeh Salaah / Isha Prayers. There will not be sign-up available at the door (NO EXCEPTION), please sign-up online. 
The indoor spaces will be monitored to comply with all current NJ State regulations in place and guidelines of Temple Beth El.
Please use your judgment in deciding the safety of congregating per your situation.
Due to limitation on space and capacity the Taraweeh Salaah / Isha Prayers sign-up is open for all.   
Adults over 65 years old will be given priority.
Please be reminded that the safety of others and ourselves and families is everyone’s responsibility, including you.
Due to social distancing, the Prayer Hall can accommodate up to 60 persons.  Once this capacity is reached the sign-up will be closed. 
On completing the sign-up, MCSC will provide a confirmation via email provided.

We trust that everyone will self-regulate, comply, and follow the safety guidelines and other measures set forth.

1. Door check-in and close times will be strictly enforced. Please arrive on time for Isha. Doors will open 5-10 minutes before the designated Isha time and will close promptly at the conclusion of Taraweeh and Witr Salah.  
2. You MUST wear a MASK. If you are not wearing a mask at any time, you will not be allowed in.
3. Gloves are recommended.
4. Use the hand sanitizer available at the door entrance.
5. Bring your own prayer mat for your comfort. MCSC will also have disposable prayer sheets.
6. Come with WUDU. The bathrooms and wudu area are for EMERGENCY use only.
7. DO NOT come if you show any symptoms of COVID-19 or have come in contact with an infected person in the past 14 days.
8. DO NOT come if you are suffering from fever, cold, flu, stomach ache, diarrhea, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath.
9. Individuals who have underlying health conditions are recommended to stay home.
10. You MUST practice 6 feet of social distancing at all times and DO NOT embrace/shake hands with other congregants.
11. Please avoid crowding at all times - Exit immediately, no loitering, no lingering, hugs or handshakes.
12. You are requested to offer your Sunnah prayers at home.
13. No meeting or congregating in groups inside the Prayer Hall.
14. You take responsibility in informing us about your health in the case of any COVID-19 development, Allah forbid. In such a case, contact us immediately at [email protected] so that we can, as possible, inform the participants you have made contact with. We will take all precautions to protect your privacy. 

Remember…On Arrival:

1. Ensure you wear your mask
2. Use the hand sanitizer available at the door entrance.
3. Pick up your prayer mat or the disposable prayer sheet/s.
4. Please go directly to the prayer floor.
5. Identify an open spot marked on the carpet per distancing guidelines.
6. Spread your prayer mat / disposable prayer sheet and pray on the same spot.
7. Please dispose of your prayer sheet after you are done.
8. No meeting or congregating in groups inside the Prayer Hall.
9. Avoid contact with any surfaces as much as possible.
10. Family members of the same household may pray at the same spot by standing next to each other.

You will receive a confirmation email of your attendance subject to the availability of a prayer slot. 

MCSC reserves the right to admission into the Prayer Hall, due to limited capacity, social distancing and requirements to comply with NJ State and Temple Beth El's Guidelines.
