In order to keep our community informed on the financial aspects of the construction project, till date we have incurred expenses of $250,000 in paid construction costs. These costs includes work such as roofing, permit costs, installing of new gutters, partial payment towards exterior work, PSE&G costs for a gas line, site cleanup and initial payment for the start of interior work.
Our contractors are progressing towards completing the exterior work in the next month or so, with the fence installation, elevator for handicap, paving of the parking lot and driveway, installing the exterior lights, marking of the parking lot, etc. While the interior work is in progress, framing and rough-in electrical work is complete. The estimated costs to complete the project is around $400,000 with $250,000 funds/pledges available we are now actively seeking donations from the community to finish the construction project. As of 25-Dec-2018 our financial shortfall is estimated at $150,000. The community needs to ensure the construction work completes on time, please come forward to donate generously and tell your family and friends to donate for this noble cause.     We experienced slight delay in our construction activities for the site work due to permit process with the Township, with the permits in place, the contractor has resumed the site work. Here are few pictures of the progress this week.    MCSC Board would like to thank all the volunteers who showed up for setting up the Eid prayer hall on Monday evening. Not including the board members, we had about a dozen volunteers with half of them teenage girls and boys who regularly volunteer and help us on such occasions.
