MCSC After School Maktab Program:
- Join the MCSC Maktab program, and register your children for our fall semester which includes textbooks focused on character, Islamic scholarship and building residency and responsibility in our 21st century world, in addition to the basic foundational principles of Islam.
- Maktab program will teach the foundational principles of Islam and what it means to be a Muslim in the 21st century. These are skills EVERY Muslim child needs to know.
What we will be focusing on:
- QUR'AN - Reading and Memorization
- DU'A - Daily Supplications
- AKHLAQ - Manners and Etiquettes
- SEERAH - LIfe and Lessons
- AQEEDAH - Beliefs and Theology
- FIQH - Essentials of Practice
Who is After School Maktab for:
- Boys: Ages 6 years and up.
- Girls: Ages 6 years to 9 years only.
Schedule:
- Date: Classes begin September 10th, Registration deadline September 9th.
- Day: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in person at the Hillsborough Masjid.
- Time: 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM EST
Maktab Fees/MCSC Membership:
- Monthly Tuition: $150 for 1 Child
- Each additional sibling is $110 per month
- Payment must be made by the beginning of each month.
- In addition to the Maktab fees, all parents are required to be a current member of MCSC. Membership fee of $120 per year/per family will be added to the total payment if parents are not a current member of MCSC.
- Financial aid is available for those who submit tax documents and qualify.
Each child will be assessed and interviewed by our Imam before formal acceptance into the program.
Seats are limited for this Semester, only 10 students will be accepted on a first come first served basis, so register as soon as possible.
