The following seven (7) members have been duly elected to serve on the MCSC Board of Trustees for a two-year term:

1. Adnan Saleem
2. Amir Ahmad
3. Asif Syed
4. Mateen Khan
5. Quddus Shaikh

May Allah (SWT) grant each of them wisdom, sincerity, and barakah in serving this community. Ameen.

A WORD OF GRATITUDE

To our community members, Jazakum Allahu Khairan to every member who came out on June 7 to exercise their right to vote. Your participation made this election a success and your presence was a powerful statement of commitment to this Masjid and its future.

To all ten candidates, we extend our deepest appreciation to every individual who put their name forward to serve MCSC. Standing as a candidate requires courage, commitment, and sincerity. To those who were not elected, your willingness to serve does not go unrecognized and we pray Allah (SWT) rewards you abundantly for your intention.

To the outgoing Board of Trustees,  the Election Committee wishes to sincerely thank the former Board for their years of service to MCSC and for supporting a smooth and orderly transition of leadership. Their cooperation throughout this process is appreciated and we pray Allah (SWT) accepts their efforts and service on behalf of this community.

To our volunteers,  this election would not have been possible without the individuals who gave their time and energy on election day. JazakAllahu Khairan to each and every one of you.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

In accordance with MCSC Bylaws, the newly elected Board will convene to elect Officers: President, Secretary, and Treasurer, from among themselves. The community will be informed of the Officer appointments once confirmed.

Per Article 9, Section 9.3 of the Bylaws, the outgoing office holders will complete the formal handover of all files, documents, and MCSC property to the incoming Board within 14 days.

Any protests, complaints, or objections regarding the election must be submitted in writing to the Election Committee at [email protected] within one week of today.

Alhamdulillah, today marks a new chapter for the Muslim Center of Somerset County. May Allah (SWT) unite this community, bless our new leadership, and place lasting barakah in this Masjid and all who serve it. Ameen.

Wassalamu Alaikum,

MCSC Election Committee
