Objective Behind MCSC
|
|
Muslim Center of Somerset County is a non profit religious educational organization serving the muslim community of Central New Jersey. It is not affiliated with any other organization, government or group. Muslim Center of Somerset County is a community-based organization depends on it's members for their support. Volunteers from the community conduct its administration. Since it's inception, it has the following aims and objectives:
Identify and build new facility for MCSC.
Practice principles of moderation, tolerance, inclusiveness and conflict avoidance within the structural limits of the Quran and Sunnah in order to create unity among Muslims.
Develop mutual understanding with non-Muslims and communicate principles of Islam.
Provide help to community of Somerset County whenever possible. Activities include community soup kitchen, helping flood victims, donating funds to poor etc.
Establish prayers and carry out other religious activities that are open to men, women and children.
